Snow in Madrid … let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…

It began snowing on Monday afternoon. Thought it was going to be a light snow, as it is used to be in Madrid. But just an hour later it began, all the garden was hidden under a thick cover of a ghosty and bright white cold powder. A couple of hours later the garden was unrecognizable, usual  shapes were distorsioned and gave birth to new ones that provide that point of magical and subrealistic soul.

Of course, Monday morning was a mess and couldn’t get out of the neighbourhood as we live in the mountains in the outskirts of  Madrid 700 mts. The car resisted to go ahead.  Couldn’t go to the office then. We spent the day at home by the fire looking hypnotized through the window pane for hours, for lazy hours in those Sunday and Monday afternoons.

Now it is rainning again turning snow into ice. More dangerours. Want to be back home soon and sit down together with my dogs and cats that must be feeling cold today without us at home. Another lazy Tuesday afternoon at the office now.
